I have recently fallen in love with Macha Jewelry, particularly the pieces shown above from the Rockwell Line. The classic settings with unusual "stones" require a second glance. I love the very unexpected nature of the work.

Bangles. Always want what I can't have.

This post was originally intended to showcase great bangles that can fit over any sized hand with the aid of a clasp or elastic band. Unfortunately, after some visual consideration, I realized the style of the elastic or clasp bangles clearly could not compare with the classic over the wrist bangle. There is something about it's simplicity and uninterrupted eternal continuity that attracts me to this specific type of accessory.

I propose it may also have something to do with the fact that I simply can not have them. My hands do not bend into that perfect little shape that most girls make when slipping on a bangle, thus my past experience with bangles have been excruciating. At times getting the bangle on in the morning may have been simple enough, but then, the removal of said bangle after a long day of walking and/or drinking deems to be impossible. I end up struggling to pull the bracelet past my stubbornly swollen hands and while pulling a shoulder muscle and chafing some skin along the way.
