STYLE: Wool And The Gang

My dear friend C and I were finally able to stop at WOOL AND THE GANG new storefront, located only a few blocks down from work. The girl working was so genuinely sweet, I was virtually spellbound when she suggested we come back on Sunday for a Free Knitting Workshop, they have them everyday! For anyone who knows me, I've been crocheting since my Nana first taught me a long time ago, so to break the mentality of using only one needle will be difficult. . .but I'm willing to give it a try. And if for some reason I just can't do it, I'll just bring a crochet needle and buy some of their wool.
For anyone living or visiting the NYC area, you must stop by at 98 Thompson Street if not to buy quality wool products (they have amazing knit kits), then at least to say hello to the lovely people that work there.

So, last weekend, I saw a chick in Soho rockin a pair of thick heeled, Victorian lace up boots and instantly thought to myself, "Damn, those really look good."
The front lace up helps make your legs seem even thinner, and the thick heel may not be as sexy as a stiletto, but its perfect for walking around in the city.

This weekend my girl was in NYC to kick it for the Halloween weekend. While here, she was on a mission to find the perfect military inspired jacket. We searched a few shops in Soho, and she finally found the perfect one.
This jacket works so well to add a little flavor over a simple tshirt and jeans ensemble. There's many varieties of this style, and here's a few options for you.
